Are you the 'parent bully'? -> Counselling

February 1, 2018

STOP saying these kinds of words to your children - “You’ll never amount to anything.”

If you have a child, especially in infancy or adolescence you need to read this. The way you parent your child, especially during infancy and adolescence has long lasting consquences, impacting them for the rest of their life. Parenting styles and ways of communicating with your children actually impact brain changes, and later impact your child’s ability to (cope) manage emotions, self regulate and make decisions. Thus making your kids more prone to mental health issues such as anxiety and depression later on in life. The biggest contribution you can give your child is positive parenting.
